gabblgobВ Америке т. н. интеллектуалы (в основном леваки, что понятно) любят нападать на ветеранов — Вьетнама, Ирака, Афгана. Вот только голоса их на фоне господствующего патриотического нарратива практически не слышен, — в отличие от России, где нападки на ветеранов афганской м чеченских кампаний льются в мозги граждан отовсюду. Ещё один повод поучиться у Америки.

And when the children touch the toys, they explode. The explosions are not powerful enough to kill in most cases – just powerful enough to maim. ..."

4. One 1986 report on Afghanistan read: "In three small villages near Qandahar, last year, the Soviets killed close to 350 women and children in retaliation for a Mujahidin attack in the vicinity. After slitting the throats of children, disemboweling pregnant women, raping, shooting and mutilating others, the Russians poured a substance on the bodies which caused instant decomposition."

Date: 2010-07-16 01:38 (UTC)Я не думаю, что здесь нападки льются в большей степени, чем в Америке. Разница в другом - в реакции на эти нападки. Здесь всем всё похеру, а в Америке ветеранов уважают и окружают заботой. Поэтому-то у нас ветеранов ВОВ в десять раз меньше, чем в Америке, хотя воевало в десятки раз больше.
